Principals and Management of Elliott & Company, CMAs:

Pete and Carol Elliott, both Certified Management Accountants (CMAs), have brought over 40 years of accounting experience to the company. To view their typical client profile, you may refer to their client listing by industry.

Pete left his middle management position with Imperial Oil in Calgary after 20 years of progressive experience and leadership roles. In October 2000, an article was written about his departure from Imperial.

Carol established their public practice of accounting in 1993, with her husband, Pete, joining her in year 2000. She previously held senior accounting and systems roles in the oil industry. She has been active with the Calgary & Area CMAs in Public Practice, serving terms as President and as a member of the website design committee and the special task force committee.

Accounting Technicians:

Angela, a senior technician, graduated from Nankai University, Tianjin, China, with a Financial Accountant diploma. She also received a Business Administration diploma from SAIT. Angela has an excellent knowledge and experience with Quickbooks. She has over 11 years of progressive accounting experience and is an integral part of our organization.

Randy has 21 years experience in public practice tax and accounting. We welcome him to our team. He specializes in: personal and small business income tax preparation; small/medium business accounting, through notice to reader financial statements. Automation of accounting systems to quickbooks. Randy is a quickbooks proadvisor and has a strong tax planning background and systems and software support and training.

Deborah, a senior technician, has over 10 years of accounting, corporate and personal tax, financial statement preparation, CRA correspondence and payroll experience. She is a trainer and supports QuickBooks and Simply software queries.  Deborah looks forward to meeting with clients helping them understand their financials to help plan and make good business decisions. She is currently enrolled at SAIT,  completing the Accelerated Accounting Diploma program.

Kelly has over 10 years of progressive accounting experience. She has a Business Administration diploma and her Canadian Payroll certification.Kelly is responsible for the preparation and reporting of our client T4 payroll slips. She is experienced with set-up, training and support of business accounting processes and tax reporting.

Susan has a strong accounting background with a very good knowledge and experience with Simply accounting software and excel based programs. Susan is currently pursuing an Accelerated Accounting Diploma at SAIT.

Val has recently attained a business diploma at Reeves College, specializing in accounting and payroll. She has experience with Quickbooks and Wave accounting software. Val also has strong computer, administration and customer service skills.

Gay Lynn has her CMA designation. She has a strong knowledge and experience with preparing personal tax returns, small business processes and compliance reporting. Gay Lynn is very knowledgable with Simply accounting.

Sorpon is our receptionist and administrative staff member. She has a strong customer service and client care background. Her interest is also in accounting and business. She is pursuing more accounting theory and experience.
