Information Required for Corporate Year End Completion
If you are a new client to Elliott & Company, please provide the following (if relevant):
Prior year end financial statements
Prior year end corporate tax return
If bookkeeping is done by Elliott and Company:
All bank statements for the year.
Home office expenses: Utilities, rent or mortgage interest, property taxes and insurance.
Plus, percentage of office square footage to total home footage.
All payments made for the year (cancelled cheques or cheque register, and credit card statements),
plus any other receipts that you have spent personally for the company but not yet reimbursed.
All invoices issued, whether paid or not, in the year.
Any capital assets purchased during the year, if financed, include type and terms of financing.
Any CRA or provincial tax assessments or information received.
Any CRA GST notices or documents received.
Any tax instalments or GST instalments paid during the year.
Any other pertinent information you think may be required.
If bookkeeping is completed by the client:
Email and attach the following items:
A back-up of your accounting data file (Excel, Quickbooks, Simply).
A copy of your year-end last month's bank statement(s).
Home office expense summary: Utilities, rent or mortgage interest, property taxes and insurance.
Plus, percentage of office square footage to total home footage.
Any financing terms, if financing commenced in the year.
